Passion and Know-How...

Founded in 1948 by André Canonica, our company has always been driven by a shared passion: chocolate. Initially active in the restaurant industry, we quickly made chocolate our core business. In 1968, we began crafting unique creations, combining tradition and modernity.

From generation to generation, our master chocolatiers have perpetuated their exceptional artisanal expertise. Each creation is the result of a rigorous selection of the finest cocoa beans and unique know-how.

Since our beginnings, we have continued to grow. From opening our first boutiques in Switzerland to conquering new international markets, we have always known how to innovate and surprise.

The Swiss quality of our chocolates is a tribute to our founder. Each bite is an invitation to a taste journey that blends tradition and modernity. Made from the finest raw materials, our chocolates reflect unique expertise and boundless passion.

Sustainability is at the heart of our concerns...

From the rigorous selection of rare cocoa beans from Madagascar and South America to the fine grinding, patient maturing and recipe testing, every stage is mastered by our chocolatiers.

We use exceptional ingredients: cocoa beans from noble origins, roasted hazelnuts and almonds, superior fruit purées and the famous Swiss cream, to reveal rich, subtle flavours.

By taking care of the entire processing of the beans in our workshop, we guarantee total quality control and a unique taste signature.

Sustainability is at the heart of our concerns...

Canonica is committed to selecting cocoa that respects the environment and local communities. That's why we have chosen to source sustainable cocoa, which comes from responsible farming practices that preserve biodiversity and guarantee fair pay for producers.

To go further, we have even acquired cocoa plantations in Madagascar, in order to control the quality of our beans and directly support the families who work the land. From seed to bar, we make every step a commitment to the planet.
